ADHD Coaching for Children & Young People – Block of Six Sessions
Six sessions of supportive, personalised coaching to build confidence, understand ADHD and find strategies that work.
Growing up with ADHD can bring challenges with organisation, time management, motivation, emotional regulation, friendships and schoolwork. It can sometimes feel as though everyday things take more effort than they should.
A block of six 1:2:1 ADHD coaching sessions gives your child the opportunity to explore these challenges in a supportive, non-judgemental space, develop a better understanding of themselves and discover practical ways to make everyday life feel more manageable.
Building a trusting relationship takes time. Across six sessions, we can explore what’s working, what’s proving difficult and what small changes might help, at a pace that feels comfortable for your child.
As a late-diagnosed ADHDer myself, I bring both professional training and lived experience to my coaching. My approach is gentle, encouraging and neuro-affirming. This isn’t about trying to change who your child is; it’s about helping them understand how their brain works, recognise their strengths and find approaches that suit them as an individual.
What to expect
Six individual coaching sessions: Regular opportunities to explore challenges, develop strategies and reflect on what is helping.
A safe space to be themselves: Your child can talk openly, ask questions and explore their experiences without fear of judgement.
Understanding their ADHD: We can explore areas such as focus, motivation, organisation, time management and emotional regulation.
Practical, personalised strategies: Together, we’ll identify realistic approaches that fit your child’s needs, interests and everyday life.
Building confidence and independence: We focus on recognising strengths, celebrating progress and developing tools your child can use beyond coaching.
Progress at their own pace: Sessions are adapted to your child’s age, needs and priorities. There is no pressure to get everything right.
Parent and carer communication: Where appropriate, I work in partnership with parents or carers, with clear boundaries around confidentiality and safeguarding.
Sessions take place online via Zoom, allowing your child to access coaching from a familiar environment.
Who it’s for
This block of six sessions is for children and young people aged 11–18 who have ADHD or identify with ADHD traits and would benefit from ongoing support.
It may be particularly helpful if your child:
Struggles with organisation, planning or managing time.
Finds starting or completing tasks difficult.
Experiences overwhelm, frustration or difficulties managing emotions.
Has lost confidence or feels misunderstood.
Finds school, friendships or everyday responsibilities challenging.
Wants to understand themselves better and develop practical strategies.
Would benefit from having time to practise, review and adapt strategies rather than trying to make changes all at once.
Six sessions provide time to build a coaching relationship, explore individual challenges and discover what works best for your child. Everyone’s needs and progress are different, and coaching is tailored accordingly.
Your child’s safety and wellbeing
Your child’s safety and wellbeing are central to my coaching practice.
Enhanced DBS: I hold an Enhanced DBS check.
Safeguarding training: I have completed Level 1 and Level 2 safeguarding training.
Insurance: I hold insurance for my coaching practice.
Professional boundaries
Coaching agreements, confidentiality and safeguarding responsibilities are explained before sessions begin. More information can be found in my footer menu, or email me any questions you might have at hello@adhd-clearmind-coaching.co.uk
My aim is to create a supportive environment where young people feel listened to and respected, and parents and carers feel reassured about their child’s wellbeing.
