1:2:1 ADHD Coaching for Children & Young People

A supportive space to understand yourself, build confidence and find strategies that work for you.

Growing up with ADHD can bring challenges with organisation, time management, emotional regulation, friendships, schoolwork and everyday life. Sometimes, it can feel as though everyone else has been given a handbook that you never received.

1:2:1 ADHD coaching offers a safe, supportive and non-judgemental space for children and young people to explore their individual challenges, recognise their strengths and discover practical strategies that work for them.

My approach is gentle, encouraging and neuro-affirming. Rather than trying to change who you are, we work together to understand how your brain works and find ways to make everyday life feel more manageable.

As a late-diagnosed ADHDer myself, I bring both professional training and lived experience to my coaching. I understand that what works for one person may not work for another, and I believe that feeling understood is an important starting point for positive change.

What to expect

A space to be yourself: Sessions are friendly, supportive and free from judgement. There is no expectation to have everything figured out before we begin.

Understanding your ADHD: We can explore how ADHD affects everyday life, including focus, motivation, organisation, emotions and confidence.

Practical strategies: We work together to find realistic tools and approaches that fit your individual needs, interests and strengths.

Building confidence: We identify what is already working well and explore small, achievable changes that can make a difference.

Working at your pace: Every young person is different. Sessions are adapted to their age, needs and interests, without pressure to get everything right.

Parent and carer communication: Where appropriate, I work in partnership with parents or carers to support progress, while respecting the young person’s privacy and explaining the limits of confidentiality from the outset.

Sessions take place online via Zoom, so your child can access coaching from a familiar environment.

Who it’s for

This coaching is for children and young people aged 11–18 who have ADHD or identify with ADHD traits and would benefit from additional support and understanding.

It may be helpful if your child:

Struggles with organisation, planning or managing time.

Finds it difficult to get started on tasks or follow things through.

Experiences overwhelm, frustration or difficulties managing emotions.

Has lost confidence or feels misunderstood.

Finds school, friendships or everyday responsibilities challenging.

Wants to understand themselves better and discover strategies that work for them.

You don’t need to have all the answers before starting. We can begin with what’s feeling difficult right now and take things one step at a time.

Your child’s safety and wellbeing

Creating a safe, supportive environment is central to my coaching practice.

Enhanced DBS: I hold an Enhanced DBS check.

Safeguarding training: I have completed Level 1 and Level 2 safeguarding training.

Insurance: I hold insurance for my coaching practice.

Professional boundaries

Coaching agreements, confidentiality and safeguarding responsibilities are explained before sessions begin. More information can be found in my footer menu, or email me any questions you might have at hello@adhd-clearmind-coaching.co.uk

My aim is to provide a space where children and young people feel listened to, respected and supported, while parents and carers can feel reassured about the care taken with their child’s wellbeing.
